I believe that your graph showing the spike in dollars and oil for 24 May would be easier to grasp if it had a horizontal dotted line at the inversion point.

The reference to "Destroyer of Worlds" is not originally from Star Wars. It is originally from the journal of J. Robert Openheimer who wrote when the first Atomic Bomb exploded: "A few people laughed, a few people cried, most people were silent. There floated through my mind a line from the "Bhagavad-Gita" in which Krishna is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty: "I am become death: the destroyer of worlds." Star Wars was making a reference to Openheimer.
