Business is booming at Nintendo where Q1 profits jumped by 48% to $2.49 billion on a 73%
increase in sales.
Since the launch of the Wii in November of 2006, Nintendo has
sold 24.5 million Wiis, almost doubling the 13 million PlayStation 3 consoles that Sony sold in the same period.

It may take the Chinese a while to pass the Italians, but it sure looks like they plan on making the race very
