Here is a stat that should both disgust you and make you lick your chops with opportunity: China is home to 16 of the world’s 20 mostpolluted cities.

Cleaning up pollution is big bucks.

I got a stock solicitation in the mail, including a CD, for China Energy Recovery (CGYV.OB). The concept looks good to me and it seems that the company is making progress. Their idea is to both control pollution and convert wasted
heat energy and emissions into usable energy. Here’s a quote from their Website (http://www.chinaenergyrecovery.com/s/Home.asp): “CER’s technology captures industrial waste energy
to produce low cost electrical power, which enables industrial manufacturers to reduce their energy costs, shrink their emissions footprint, and generate sellable emissions credits. CER’s systems are effective at reducing sulfur dioxide emissions, which
are a leading cause of acid rain. CER has successfully installed over one hundred energy recovery systems both in China and internationally.” Looks like a win-win idea and an attractive investment for the long term. What do you think, Tony?
