Hong Kong bus fares rise

by Tony Sagami on May 21, 2008

in Asian Market, Stock Market in China

It is going to cost more to ride a bus in Hong Kong. Beginning on June 8, bus
fares will rise
by 2% to 7.2% in Hong Kong.

Even though I am pointing out this price increase, keep in mind that $130 oil has a fraction of the impact on
Asia as it does to
Americans.

We’re talking about a country where its residents ride buses, subways, and bicycles and where car ownership is a luxury
that few can afford.
