Macau gambling roars ahead

by Tony Sagami on August 20, 2008

in General

The government of Macau, like the State of Nevada, places on a tax on casino’s gambling profits. Macau takes 35% of acasino’s gross revenue as a tax.

The Macau Special Administration Region casino tax revenues jumped by 51% in the first seven monthsof the year to $3.03 billion.

Anybody that doesn’t believe in the long-term potential of the Macau casinos is on the wrong side of the trade.
