Malaysia: Asia’s undiscovered gem

The head of Malaysia’s sovereign fund, Khazanah Nasional, gave a very optimistic view for his country.

 “Malaysia is now
strong not just in manufacturing exports but would also have very strong domestic consumption. When you put all these
things together, by no means that we are talking about a slowing down. Certainly that kind of growth rate that we have
seen before will continue.”

The Malaysian economy is expected to grow by 5% to 6%
this year, and that is on top of the 6.3% it grew in 2007.
