The freeze between Taiwan and China is melting.
A new inexpensive ferry service across
the narrow Taiwan Strait from the Taiwan island of Kinmen to Fuijan Province of China is now available.
The significance isn’t the inexpensiveness of the ferry but the continued evidence that China and Taiwan are making some meaningful movement toward
political and economic cooperation.
This peace dividend is going to jump start the Taiwanese economy.
