I think the wettest I’ve ever been in my life was when I got stuck in a tropical monsoon in Singapore.
Despite that, Singapore is my favorite city in the world for both its food and vibrant economy. A lot of people feel
the same way because foreign visitors to Singapore increased
by 5.7% in March from the same period last year.
Most of those visitors came from Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, and China.
While this tidbit doesn’t have any direct investment implications, I want to impress upon you the importance of
Singapore as a financial center for Asia. Singapore has become the Switzerland of Asia and is a crucial participant in the Asian economic growth story.
