The first packed McDonalds

by Tony Sagami on August 17, 2008

in Asian Market, Stock Market in China

I have never seen a packed McDonald’s anywhere in Asia…until yesterday.
The main Olympic complex of the Birds Nest, Water Cube, and National Indoor Stadium (gymnastics) only allowed onerestaurant — McDonald’s.

It took a captive audience with no place else to eat to fill up McDonald’s.

I’m not saying that McDonald’s is a poorly run company or even a bad stock. What I am saying is that its Asia strategy is a lukewarm successat best.
