I’ve been in New York this week attending a real estate seminar, and while I’ve been here, I’ve had the chance to share my thoughts on the housing and interest rate markets with a few media outlets. You can watch a Wall Street Journal spot here, a BNN TV spot here, and a CNBC Asia spot here if you like. Enjoy.

I’m perplexed by the Pulte situation. Their earnings report yesterday revealed a 42% drop in REVS, but losses were half of the 07 4th quarter. And, their cash position rose from about 1.2 b to 1.6 b. Of course, the stock is rallying and the puts are falling. What kind of bad news will finally kill this thing??? Seemingly– nothing. And if the slightest sliver of good news on housing develops– including hopes and dreams from a stimulus package?? Then what? I’m gettin’ a queasy feelin’ on this one.
